On the 30 November 2022, colleagues representing National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) visited one of the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) surveillance data collection sites in Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. During their visit, the team met with the NCD surveillance team who took them through the data collection processes in all data collection stations. Meetings were also organised with representatives from the local community groups, with colleagues representing the NIHR also visiting the households of some research participants. The visit team shared relevant learnings with the UK team on their return, with the objective of facilitating continued support for high-quality research with a view to unblocking issues raised by research teams during the visit.
