GHRU Trainee Chahat Arora supported the recent NIHR Members event as a facilitator for the session Policy Impact in an NIHR Global Research Professorship.
377 delegates attended the virtual event was held on the 23rd and 24th July 2024. The event included sessions on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and its role in achieving policy-level impact, focussing on how to bridge the gap between evidence and impact. The event brought together Academy Members in NIHR GHR Units, Groups, Centres, RIGHT projects, HPSR projects and Global Research Professorships to come together to discuss their research and experience communicating research to develop their academic career. With attendees joining from across Africa, Asia, Central and South America and the UK.
