Thilini Chandrasiri presented a comprehensive review paper titled “Comparison of Food Based Dietary Guidelines (FBDGs) for Children and Adolescents among South Asian Countries” at the 29th Annual Academic Sessions 2024 of the College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka held in Colombo from August 8th to 10th, 2024.

The poster highlighted the variations and commonalities in dietary guidelines across South Asian countries, focusing on nutritional recommendations for children and adolescents. The review aimed to identify gaps and opportunities for harmonizing these guidelines to improve the nutritional status and health outcomes of young populations in the region.
