T.A. Pramod Kumar, PhD, is a post-doctoral fellow at the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, specializing in glycemic variability, early interventions, and surrogate biomarkers. Holding a doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Madras, he integrates his expertise in public health and biochemical analysis to advance diabetes research and its complication management. With extensive experience in large-scale data analysis, biomarker exploration for diabetic complications, and the application of artificial intelligence in diabetic retinopathy screening, he has made significant contributions to the field. Beyond his research endeavors, Pramod actively supports academic growth by coordinating with PhD students on their articles and thesis activities.
