Dr. N. Jagannathan is a scientist in the Department of Preventive and Digital Health Research (DPDHR) at Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF). He holds a Doctorate in Biotechnology from Vels University, Tamil Nadu, and an MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Madras. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from Loyola College, Tamil Nadu.

With over thirteen years of experience in managing and implementing research projects, Dr. Jagannathan’s passion for digital health has driven his involvement in mHealth interventions aimed at preventing and managing NCDs. He has successfully led digital intervention studies, directing field teams in data collection, intervention delivery, and follow-up across both urban and rural populations. His expertise spans biostatistics, survey research, and data analysis, with proficiency in SPSS for statistical modeling and interpretation.
