Ms.Lakshmi Karthikeyan, M.Sc., M.Phil , working as a Project Manager at Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai, India. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D, at University of Madras where her research focus revolves around “Secular Trends in the prevalence of diabetes and prediabetes and its associated lifestyle factors in the rural south Indian population”. With over 11 years of invaluable research experience, Ms. Lakshmi Karthikeyan has honed her expertise in epidemiology. Her work has spanned various research domains, including translational research, implementation research, and randomized controlled trials. Her research interests include epidemiology, community nutrition, implementation science, Qualitative research, environmental health and non-communicable diseases. Her pursuit aligns perfectly with her passion for community well-being and her dedication to mitigating the impact of non-communicable diseases.
