Dr. Sakib Rahman is a Research Associate at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health (BRAC JPGSPH), BRAC University (https://bracjpgsph.org/staff-details/12760). His research interests include epidemiological research on maternal and child health, public health nutrition, and non-communicable diseases. As a public health researcher, he is implementing a number of research projects on nutrition and non-communicable diseases since 2022 after joining the Centre for Non-communicable Diseases and Nutrition (CNCDN) of BRAC JPGSPH. He has 7 years of experience in clinical practice before obtaining his master’s degree in public health (MPH) from BRAC JPGSPH, BRAC University, BRAC in 2022.
He is currently involved in the MPH program at the BRAC JPGSPH as a teaching fellow and also mentored the thesis projects of the MPH students. He is passionate about enhancing community health through his research endeavors and accumulated expertise.
